Description This stunning apartment is located just off the Paseo del Born in a quiet pedestrian side street in the Born district of Barcelona’s Historic Centre. It is a 10-minute walk from the Ramblas, 5 minutes from the Cathedral, and is situated immediately behind the Picasso Museum. At the top end of the Paseo, you will find the Santa Maria del Mar church, the most magnificent example of Catalán Gothic buildings in Barcelona. Walking a couple of blocks in the other direction is Barcelona's beautiful marina area.

The entire area surrounding the apartment building is encased in enchanting tiny medieval interconnecting streets and alleyways. Bustling with life, these little streets house cafés, speciality food shops, small commercial and public galleries, design boutiques and a wide selection of excellent restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. The area was recently described by Arthur Lubow in The New York Times as “having the energy of New York’s Lower East Side”.

The apartment is on the first floor (no elevator – 23 steps) and occupies a total area of 85m2. Its design is open plan; it is spacious and has many unusual features contributing to its overall charm including a secret door!

It can accommodate up to five people in one large twin bedroom, a partitioned double bedroom in one area of the living room with a queen size double bed and a comfortable double sofa-bed in the living room. The living room has high ceilings with exposed wooden beams and two French windows which open onto little wrought iron balconies with trailing ivy plants. The flat has wooden floors throughout, an entrance hallway, very well-equipped open plan kitchen/dining room with a breakfast bar, and a bathroom on 3 levels with glass partition walls, separate bath and a large teak-floored walk-in shower with a mega-showerhead that you won’t want to come out of!
NotesThe apartment has satellite TVs and DVDs in both the living room and main bedroom, a CD/MP3 Home Cinema System with 5 speakers, telephone, breakfast bar, washing machine, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, central heating, remote controlled air conditioning, a wall safe, toaster, electric kettle, juicer, sandwich maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board as well as lots of extra luxuries to give you real home-from-home comfort such as plump fluffy cushions, double helpings of pillows, light duck down duvets in winter, large fluffy bath towels, crisp white cotton bed linen, a selection of CDs, and Barcelona guide books for you to use during your stay.
